Hi Everybody!
I don't know why things have been so busy and I haven't kept up with my communication through our e-note, but I think I have turned a corner and can see great things ahead! I hope all has been well with everyone and that you are looking forward to the rest of this year.
Esther and I returned from visiting Sarah, Isaac, and Wiley in Ohio. As many of you may know Sarah is expecting her second child in March. They want a girl and so they are preparing for that. They are doing well. Wiley is growing and now likes me, which is a great thing! Aaron and Jackie are expecting their fourth child this February. They are hoping for a girl too! Adam and Kelly are busy with their church and are also doing well. Esther and I are very thankful for our wonderful family!
We began our School of Ministry for those who want to delve deeper into the Word of God. It started last Tuesday and I know it's going to be a blessing for all who are attending. The next classes start October 26.
Our church is well and both services are blessed! We have such wonderful people! It is a joy to pastor these folks!
Our building project is still on hold and we are continuing to believe God for a miracle concerning the finances to proceed with the project! The wonderful thing is that we know that the church is the people, and no matter what, we are going to continue to minister to them the Word of God!
In my heart there is an expectation of God's Glory being displayed in His church! I believe the corner has been turned and we are moving in the right direction! So get ready, you are about to be blessed!
In His Service,
Pastor Mark

Hello Everyone! I trust everyone is having a great summer! It’s been a while since I sent out an e-note. We have been blessed doing the will of God and it has kept us very busy! During the month of June we held classes every Saturday regarding our Ministry of Helps and they were fantastic! I am so blessed as a Pastor because God has blessed me with great people who love God and who love to serve Him!
I have been teaching on Wednesday nights on the subject of leadership and it seems that people like having the handouts to fill in the blanks and grow as leaders. I have enjoyed it a lot! This month I am doing a series on Sunday's called "My tongue is the pen of a ready writer." It is all about writing a new chapter for your life with your tongue! I have an excitement in my spirit and I sense that God is going to move suddenly and there will be cause for great rejoicing! The best is yet to come! And God's richest and best is ours!
My family is doing well. Esther and I are hoping to go and visit Sarah, Isaac, and Wiley next month. Aaron and Jackie and the boys are doing well and enjoying the pool. Carter has enjoyed the pool the most as he has learned to jump in. Jackson is fearless and has had to be rescued a couple of times but that doesn't stop him from going all out! Adam and Kelly are well and still enjoying the ministry.
Blessings,
Pastor Mark

Hi Everyone!
Sorry about not getting an e-note to you last month, as it was a very busy month. Esther and I ministered in Pittsburgh, PA, and had a wonderful time! It is always a blessing to see Pastor Chris and Belinda and all the people there continuing to love God!
I am writing this e-note while waiting to board my flight to Brisbane, Australia. I will be speaking at a Camp-meeting in the Gold Coast for Pastor Nigel and Margaret Darch. Following that, I will speak for Rhema Bible Church in Brisbane and then speak at the Rhema Bible Training Center's Spirit of Faith Seminar on Monday and Tuesday. As you can see I will be very busy! I return on Wednesday the 14th. Esther is not with me on this trip as she is ministering at a ladies retreat for Pastor Jason and Peggy Younger this weekend. God continues to amaze me with His faithfulness to open doors for us to go through, and we pray that we will be the blessings He desires. Please pray for us as we allow God to use us as He wants to.
We had our first Easter outreach this past Saturday and it turned out great! I want to thank everyone who helped make it the success that it was! Without each of you it would not have been as successful. We handed out 70 information packets to people from around our community and the Stockton Record newspaper wrote a nice article about us, even though they didn't get any pictures of the kids hunting the eggs. We stuffed 5000 eggs and the kids enjoyed them all. I don't know yet how much the Youth made from their fundraiser of selling hot dogs and nachos, but they were a big hit. A special thank you goes out to Angel Victor for getting Sara Lee to donate all the rolls for the hot dogs. If you were able to help with the outreach and you saw anything that we might improve upon, or that you thought was great, please let us know.
Pastor Adam and Kelly are doing fine and their church is moving forward!
Pastor Aaron is gearing up for "Acquire the Fire" which is a youth outreach that Teen Mania Ministry puts on around the country. It will be at Arco Arena in Sacramento April 16-17th. He is also planning a youth camp for this summer. We love our youth and we want to give them every opportunity to have an encounter with God. So if you have teenagers please get them to these events, as their lives will be touched!
Sarah is enjoying Wiley as he continues to grow and bring new challenges her way. He is crawling, and has found that he likes to eat food with his hands instead of a spoon.
I believe that something good is about to happen at Harvest Bible Church! It just seems that there is something that God is about to bring forth! I can't wait to see what He has in store for us. Our expectation is His invitation to move!
Blessings,
Pastor Mark

I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day! I am writing this e-note right before I take off for Winter Bible Seminar and I'm looking forward to having a good time of fellowship. I have a real excitement in my spirit for this year about the things of God!
We had a great service last night at our Believers meeting, God's presence was so sweet. The Word of the Lord came forth for us to decree some things for our lives! You know, it's one thing to just say things by faith and have a good confession, but there is something about when you're in the spirit and you speak being inspired by the Spirit that makes it come out as Rhema word for your life! I hope that makes sense because it is true! I want to encourage you to take time to build yourself up by praying in the Holy Ghost! Get your expectations up because the best is yet to come!
We are starting a 13 week class in which we're utilizing DVD's by Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University. This will be every Sunday night from 6-8 pm. We have over 50 people signed up for the class!
Esther and I will be ministering in Pittsburgh, PA, March 20-21 at Pittsburgh Christian Fellowship. We will be ministering at a Saturday night service and a Sunday morning service.
We are planning an outreach for the Saturday right before Easter! It is going to be a lot of fun and we hope to have a great turn out from the community! Please keep this in prayer and come and support it!
Our family is well and continuing to serve the Lord!
Blessings,
Pastor Mark and Esther Butler

Hello Everyone!
I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
As I look back over this past year I am so amazed at the faithfulness of God! It is so good to know that He is always right there to bring things to pass and to make things happen!
The church building project is still moving forward as we’re looking to obtain our construction drawings and get them out for bid. The construction of the building should start around April of 2010. We know God will supply all of our needs!
This Christmas is going to be fun as our grandchildren are getting older and their excitement is great. Of course Kelly and Jackie have a lot of excitement too! Sarah and Isaac won't be able to come home this Christmas so Esther and I will be flying out to see them right after Christmas. I am so blessed with wonderful children and their spouses!
I want to finish this year strong and go into the next with full steam ahead! I just have a sense that 2010 is going to be a banner year for the church! I am sure there will be changes and surprises because that is what every New Year brings!
I hope you are working on your list for things you are believing God to do for you next year!
Love,
Pastor Mark and Esther Butler

Hello Everyone!
As I sit here and write this e-note we had almost 3 inches of rain this week and most of it in one day! I am reminded that James 5:7 said,
I am excited about the Harvest! I just want to keep reaching one more! God is so good!
We are having our Harvest Festival on the 31st of this month and we are believing for 500 people to attend. It is one of our main outreaches that we do in the community. So if you can make it, come and enjoy the event! It is a lot of fun!
Pastor Adam and Kelly have been given access to their new building and on Sunday they had one person receive salvation! We are celebrating with them and believe that increase will come in every area!
God is faithful and continues to supply all of our needs for our building project! We are trusting Him to pay off the architect and engineers that are working on our construction drawings! What God orders He pays for! Please be in agreement with us for this!
I want to thank everyone for making our 15 year anniversary as a church a great success! I also want to thank everyone for celebrating with me on my 30 years of being in the ministry! I want to borrow words from the Apostle Paul "and I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry." I truly have been blessed by God's wonderful people.
Sincerely,
Pastor Mark and Esther Butler

"Be patient therefore, brethren unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waits for the precious fruit of the earth, and has long patience for it, until he receive the early and the latter rain. Be ye also patient; establish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draws nigh."The Lord is not coming back until he receives a great harvest of people coming unto Him! Rain is always a type of the Holy Spirit, so there is an out-pouring of the Spirit happening right now!

Hello Everyone!
I trust that all is well and that you are prospering in the Lord!
We are gearing up for a busy time of year! We are starting our School of Ministry again and it began yesterday, September 14th! This time, our school is running a little different than in the past. We’re offering two courses that will run for 6 weeks and then following those, two different courses will be offered. We’re also offering the opportunity to take every course or just the ones you would like, by simply joining at the beginning of each 6 week course. The School will run from September through April. Esther and I will teach most of the courses. We are very excited about it! If you can make it, come on and join us!
Our church building project continues to inch forward and we are still working with the architect to get the construction plans done. It is going to be a blessing for us and we are looking forward to how God is going to bring it to pass!
As you’re reading this, Esther and I are headed toward the National Gospel Quartet Convention in Louisville, Kentucky! We will also swing by and see Sarah and Wiley as she’s only a mere 3 hours away from Louisville (very close by grandparent’s standards). Adam and Kelly are doing fine and looking forward to being in their new facility by the first of October! Aaron, Jackie, and the boys are well and they continue to be blessings to us in many areas.
It was fun to have Esther's sisters Genny and Cathy with us for Esther's 50th birthday party! Esther was truly surprised and blessed by everyone who was there! Our church is so wonderful to us and we are so blessed!
We’re celebrating our 15th anniversary as a Church October 4th through 7th! It’s going to be fun to look back at where we have come from, and to look forward to where we’re going! We have many pictures of the past so it’s going to be fun to see how far we have come in life. You may want to be there just to see how you looked 15 years ago!
The best is yet to come!
